Introduction

Set expectations and explain that this is a team decision exercise using one shared team list. Only one person can control the list at a time. Keep the tone clear, calm, and slightly serious. Avoid giving hints about the reference ranking.

Scenario Framing

Create immersion and urgency. Read or summarize the scenario clearly, make constraints feel real, and avoid giving hints about item value.

Team Ranking

Require one shared decision under pressure. Watch who takes control first, whether people discuss before editing, how smoothly control transfers, who waits passively, and whether one participant dominates the shared list.

Final Submission

Make teams commit. Avoid last-minute coaching, keep deadline pressure real, and ask teams to submit even if imperfect.

Reveal And Debrief

Reveal results clearly without treating differences as good or bad teamwork. Use the team’s choices and score gaps as material for reflection about assumptions, disagreement, influence, and uncertainty.
