Phases
- Introduction
- Scenario framing
- Shared-control team ranking and negotiation
- Final submission
- Reveal and scoring
- Debrief
Introduction
Set expectations and explain that this is a team decision exercise using one shared team list. Only one person can control the list at a time. Keep the tone clear, calm, and slightly serious. Avoid overexplaining the correct survival logic.
Scenario Framing
Create immersion and urgency. Read or summarize the scenario clearly, make constraints feel real, and avoid giving hints about item value.
Team Ranking
Force consensus under pressure through constrained collaboration. Watch who takes control first, whether people discuss before editing, how smoothly control transfers, who waits passively, and whether one participant dominates the shared list.
Final Submission
Make teams commit. Avoid last-minute coaching, keep deadline pressure real, and ask teams to submit even if imperfect.
Reveal And Debrief
Reveal results clearly without mocking bad answers. Use score gaps as material for reflection about assumptions, disagreement, influence, and uncertainty.
